Belly dance or Raqs Sharki
(Eastern dance) is one of the
oldest documented dance forms.
This art form has a long history
as a social dance as well as a
dance performed by professional
entertainers.

Middle Eastern dance uses
natural movements of the hips
and the torso to fluidly interpret
music.  It is typically an
improvisational dance that freely
expresses an individual's
interpretation of music.

Laila has taught and performed
Middle Eastern dance throughout
the Philadelphia area.  She will
be relocating to Kansas City,
Missouri this summer.
